Any of these spots is a valid location to place a pin or waypoint! Right-click on any visible location while in Cartography Mode to display a fine grid of temporary points in a radius around that spot. While it is not possible within Stalker's game enginee to right-click on any empty space in the map and interact with it, PAW has a new feature that is almost as good: Ping. NEW IN 1.5: PING THE MAP FOR PRECISE PLACEMENT Quick Pins are no longer locked to the nearest smart terrain! They will now be placed at the player's exact current location, no matter where that is. Put your PAW down and make the map yours. Label the map with pinned icons and notes so that you never forget where the dangers (or the good loot) are.ĭon't let NPCs tell you where to go-be your own quest-giver. Cancelling the waypoint task does not count as a cancelled or failed task. Remove it whenever you want by right-clicking any visible location on the PDA map. I really can recommend the trailer pack I posted, it's well textured, has the correct weights, and the trailers and flatbeds are designed in such a way that they don't cause problems in ETS2 (they aren't too long or too wide for stuff like tol booths, but long and wide (and heavy) enough to provide quite the challenge by just fitting if you take the right driving lines).Right-click on any marked location or NPC marker you can see on your PDA map, and track it as a task with a waypoint you can move whenever you want. HAd to intermittently let go of the throttle to bounce my front wheels back on the ground to keep my direction, untill I finally managed to do a few upshifts to 3rd and managed to getup the hill at 8 mph. Was pulling an abrahams tank up a 10 percent slope, misshifted and came to a standstill.įirst I stalled my engine like 5 times in an effort to get going again, then when I finally didn't stall, the rear wheels of my 6x4 started spinning without traction, then when I finally found traction by staying low rev on the brink of stalling, the combo of the heavy weight, steep angle and physics mod caused my front wheels to lift off the ground because of the torque in 1st gear, and I couldn't steer. I must say, the combination of some of my mods make for a great driving experience, combining the steepness of some of the greek mountainroads in the map mod with a heavy load of the trailer mod and the physics of the physics mod, and you'll have some real challenges. Yeah, I remember that one, that's pretty rare for me though, I near to never damage my load, but I do make mistakes once in a while yeah Again this helps immersion, and for example it's much easier to notice that your engine is struggling going uphill. I've edited the config file in my profile and changed the interior sound from 1.0 to 5.0, so the engine can be heard much better during gameplay.Trailer mod pack v2.0 Next to changing skins to real company ones, this mod also adds a bunch of oversize and overweight loads, heaviest being a 75 tonne locomotive on a wide flatbed, but also stuff like an M1A2 Abrahams tank, heavy tractors and farm equipment, all looking excellent, and with appropriate heavy weight. This version is compatible with the latest patch. Realistic Physics Mod v9.0 This mainly changes the suspension and cabin shake for a more realistic driving experience. The barriers are still there though, just can't see them. Optical Clearing Barriers 1.5.2 which removes the visual barriers from the dead end roads, as they tend to kill my immersion. There are also a lot of signs added which will indicate if a highway will split or have an extra lane at exits, which is really helpfull. However, some additions are great, the roads at the german ruhrgebiet are awesome and typically german, and whoever worked on Greece did a fantastic job with very challenging mountain roads. Downside is not all textures used look good at certain places, and I've come across a bug in routefinding at the french westcoast. This will add thousands of kilometers of roads, and is a great addition.
